"How much time do I have?"

For my second exhibition, I decided to tackle a theme that is very dear to me: TIME. Along with it, other dilemmas of a woman's life—artist and feminist in this contemporary society—surfaced.

After all, in our society, everything has changed, yet I feel that nothing has changed, especially for us women.

What is the space that I, a 37-year-old woman, occupy today? - I questioned myself. Based on this provocation, I dive into my relationship with time, my expectations, and the societal expectations imposed on us. How can we have the freedom to be who we are while trying to be what others expect of us? Thus, I began my artistic journey on this theme, which has accompanied me for many years and I feel will continue to do so for a long time to come.

I allowed myself to create, experiment, and explore new proposals and materials, such as intervening in objects, working with linoleum using nail polish, collage, and, most importantly, bringing speech closer. With this, I began a new collection:

'What Time Do I Have?'

I had the opportunity to present it for the first time on 06/09/24 at the 6th edition of Arte Ocupa at Heavy House in Pinheiros, São Paulo, with 7 pieces. In addition to these, I developed 4 prints that were available for purchase. The exhibition lasted only one day, but I hope to showcase this collection again in the near future, especially since I already have new pieces in mind.
